Hi, this is the page where we will tell you all about what we do in store and online.

If you don’t know about ComputerBits, we are a shop located in Chapel-en-le-Frith, in the High Peak in Derbyshire. We sell goods connected with PCs and Telecommunications as well as providing a range of associated services, including repairs of Hardware, Malware and Virus removal, and Systems Support.  We have an Internet and Communications side to our business (cbits.net) which provides Broadband, Telephone and VOIP services as well as websites and domain names. Basically if it’s “to do with the PC”, we either do it or have a man that can!

We are happy to be the “techie” for you, your family or your business, and whilst we recommend that you call to us (it’s cheaper for you that way), we are happy to provide telephone help, or, (given its not your internet connection that’s the problem), provide remote “on-line” support.

This kind of service, for business users is called “a Managed Service Provider“, we don’t see why personal consumers shouldn’t avail them selves of the benefits of this, so we make or services available “a la Carte”, and you can subscribe to whatever “mix and match” package you like. We would however suggest the key is our WatchGuard/Panda Endpoint Security product, which provides us with a backbone to build other products around.

We can of course come to you if that’s the most effective way to help, we look to take a holistic approach to support, in that it’s often unclear if a problem is hardware, network or software systems, we look at it in the round and try to find the most effective and economic route to solving the problem.

If you have a business venture or a move of premises, come and talk to us early on, we love to get involved and will provide ideas (and physical support) from business stationery, web design, cabling, telephones, hardware, software, cups of tea, good places to eat and drink, and a big ovation when its all going!

Our aim is to provide quality goods and services at the lowest prices we can, in general we will have a solution that is as good or better than elsewhere and will match or beat our competitors prices.
